Volume 24, no. 8, p. 3514-3525, 2004. Page 3519, Fig. 3: After publication of this paper, we realized that some of the panels of this figure were not correctly labeled concerning the expression of laminin isoforms. In all three panels, "laminin {alpha}1" should read "laminins," since the antibody used (Sigma L9393) was raised against a mixture of laminins purified from the EHS mouse sarcoma, and "laminin {alpha}2" should read "laminin B2 gamma 1 chain." The protein expression data in panel b were double-checked by independent real-time PCR experiments using new, specific sets of primers and RNA isolated from soleus muscles. Subsequent experiments have confirmed that in the muscles of TIS7–/– mice the expression of laminin B2 gamma 1 chain on both RNA and protein levels is down-regulated. We apologize for any difficulties or confusion that these errors may have caused for our colleagues.
