Volume 25, no. 14, p. 6165-6177, 2005. Page 6174, Fig. 7: Upon reanalyzing the male pronucleus in sesame mutant embryos, we obtained results that differed from the ones published. ProtamineA-enhanced green fluorescent protein (eGFP) and ProtamineB-eGFP are removed normally in sesame mutants as shown below, and results are as shown previously for Mst77F-eGFP; thus, Fig. 7G to L should appear as shown below. The additional experiments concerning Mst77F-eGFP in the male pronucleus in sesame mutants confirmed our previous results; a better picture is shown in panel K. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by our error in identification of the male pronucleus in sesame mutant embryos.
