Cover photograph (Copyright © 2003, American Society for Microbiology. All Rights Reserved.): Expression and localization of GGAP1, a GTP-binding and GTPase-activating protein, in COS-7 cells. GGAP1 is expressed in the cytoplasm, possibly in the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus in COS-7 cells. Coexpression of GGAP1 (green) with actin (red) is shown in yellow; blue indicates the nucleus. Fluorescent images of cells were captured on a charge-coupled device camera mounted on Olympus inverted research microscope using Ultraview imaging software.
